She also won first place in fiction from the Wyoming Writers Conference (2015) for her short story “Bridge to Before.” She spends her time writing, supporting the Table (an emerging spiritual community) and caring for two young grandsons. She lives with her husband, assorted and variable family members, and an elderly cat in Casper, Wyoming

T. Lawton Carney’s undergraduate studies were at the University of Tennessee, majoring in English Literature. He is author of three books on the business of interior design under the name of Thomas L. Williams, and he also contributed to the premier issue of the Santa Barbara Literary Journal. He has co-written interior design forecast pieces and written for local and regional newspapers.

Tom’s mother sparked an interest in Sci-Fi when he was six years old and took him to the neighborhood library to introduce him to Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, and his early favorite, the Tom Swift, Jr. series. Tom, and his husband Robert, have lived on the East Coast of the United States, London, England, Carmel, California, and now Palm Springs.

Farrell R. Davisson was a media reporter who covered the golden age of television for Daily Variety in Chicago. He taught journalism at Penn State and mentored numerous young reporters. Following his career as a journalist, Davisson concentrated on creative writing. Odds and Ends brings together Davisson’s poetry for the first time into a single collection. Davisson’s work possesses a unique, and at times post-modern, voice. Accompanying and complimenting, the poetry are selections from Davisson’s extensive photographic archives.

John Gregorson Campbell collected numerous tales and traditional stories from the folklore of Scotland. Witchcraft & Second Sight in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland was published posthumously in 1902. Superstitions of the Highlands & Islands of Scotland was published posthumously in 1900. It collects oral stories of Scottish superstitions and folklore including tales of fairies, tutelary beings, mermaids, the water-horse, and other spirits, as well as divination, dreams & prophecies, and the Devil.

John Gregorson Campbell (1836-1891) was a minister and folklorist. He collected many stories and tales of the Scottish Highlands and islands. Campbell was born near Loch Linnhe at Kingairloch, Argyll. He was a Free Church minister of the united parishes of Tiree and Coll in Argyll. His work was published in numerous contemporary publications including the Scottish Review, Celtic Magazine, and Highland Monthly.
