Description
Tori is a woman in her early 20s struggling with both her sexual identity and her quest to become an artist in the misogynistic world of tattooing. Set during San Francisco Pride in the early 1990s, Tori meets Tempest a drag queen who pushes Tori to challenge herself and her status quo.
A perpetual student and champion for human rights, and inter-religious peace and reconciliation, Andrew Bowen created Project Conversion in 2011, a year-long personal immersion into the culture, practices, beliefs, and rituals of 12 belief systems from around the world as a personal intervention after years of animosity toward faith. His fiction and essays splash the murky waters of religion and spirituality, and have appeared in over a dozen venues like decomP, Prick of the Spindle, Pulp Metal Magazine, and Charlotte Viewpoint.
