In celebration of Pride Month, Queens Public Library‘s Culture Connection presented a discussion with the editors of the anthology Fever Spores: The Queer Reclamation of William S. Burroughs.
Editors Brian Alessandro and Tom Cardamone will share their efforts to bring the legendary Beat writer into the gay literary canon. They will also talk about their interviews with David Cronenberg, Tony Kushner, and Fran Lebowitz, who recounted their experiences with and analyses of Burroughs. This program will be moderated by critically acclaimed author Matthew Specktor.
