Rebel Satori is pleased to announce we have acquired a new collection of short fiction from Noel Alumit, Music Heard in Hi-Fi & Other Stories. Alumit is a multidisciplinary artist. He wrote the bestselling novel Talking to the Moon and Letters to Montgomery Clift for which he won the Stonewall Book Award from the American Library Association. He is also a recipient of the James Duggins Mid-Career Novelist’s Prize at the Saints+Sinners Literary Festival. He is currently an Associate Editor at Lion’s Roar Magazine.
In addition to writing, Alumit is an actor and activist. Out Magazine has included him in their Out 100 list of influential LGBTQIA+ individuals. In 2012 he was appointed to the California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs.
His collection will be released this August.
